Upon request from a large employment agency, we customized and delivered a pharmaceutical sales training program for a group of Internationally Educated Healthcare Professionals (IEHPs) who recently immigrated to Toronto, Canada. Among these IEHPs were physicians and pharmacists from nations such as Iran, Zimbabwe and Colombia.
Our in-class facilitated program first introduced the trainees to the Canadian healthcare system and pharmaceutical industry. The subsequent modules provided rigorous training in business and technical communications, professional presentation of clinical data, consultative selling and detailing. Trainees grasped key concepts through gamification and role playing.
We concluded the program with personalized coaching, and resume and interview preparation. At end of the program, the trainees expressed confidence in applying for various roles within the pharmaceutical and life science industry.
